MET Office Weather Warning for Monday

This weekend the MET Office have issued an Amber weather warning for Monday. In their words

We are expecting gusts of 60-70 mph widely and locally over 80 mph
We are advising all our staf to make sure that they take the appropriate precautionary steps to make sure they are safe and ready for the weather. We highly advise you have a quick read of the MET Office Article and that you check the weather when you wake up before your shift. Also remember, there is a potential risk of high winds taking down things like trees which could create traffic and add additional time to your journey.
